As a trusted Community Partner for Research & Health Access Initiative with over a decade of experience serving on community advisory committees and collaborating with hospitals and academic institutions, I bring a deep understanding of how to build trust and engagement within Latino communities—especially around issues of health access and social determinants of health.

Through The Engagement Ed Corp, my team and I partner with researchers at colleges, universities, and healthcare institutions working on clinical trials and public health studies. Our role is to help bridge the gap between research teams and the communities they aim to reach. We assist with culturally responsive outreach, participant recruitment, and the translation of surveys and materials from English to Spanish—ensuring clear communication and authentic connections.

I understand the importance of accessibility, and local presence when working with vulnerable populations. Our community relationships and on-the-ground experience make us a valuable collaborator in advancing studies that aim to identify disparities and improve outcomes for Latino families and other vulnerable groups.
